What to know before connecting
Do I have to use ChatGPT to use FamilyWise?
No. FamilyWise is local-first on iPhone and iPad. A shared Home, FamilyWise Web, and the optional ChatGPT connection add other ways to work with the plan.
Can ChatGPT change everything in FamilyWise?
No. Only supported tools are available, and not every mobile feature is exposed through ChatGPT. Supported changes are presented for confirmation.
What information is excluded?
The connection excludes birthdates, health and medication details, custody information, private notes, credentials, payment data, and other unsupported sensitive information.
Can I start with a read-only request?
Yes. Ask FamilyWise HQ to read or summarize the current plan without adding, updating, or deleting anything.
